Graveside services for Betty Brasher, 83 of West Monroe, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Florein, Louisiana. Rev. Dwight Munn will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. before graveside service at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.
Betty was born on July 28, 1937 in Florein, Louisiana and passed away on December 28, 2020 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was a member of McClendon Baptist Church. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Weldon of Mt. Carmel, Louisiana.
Betty is survived by her husband, Billy F. Brasher; children, Tammy Gayle Brasher Doucet and husband Mike of Jonesboro, Louisiana, Jay Anthony Brasher and wife Tammy of Des Allemands, Louisiana, Karen Brasher Callegan and husband Danny of Monroe, Louisiana, Gary Michael Brasher and wife Ella of Luling, Louisiana, Lissa Linda Brasher Munn; brothers, Alton Gene Weldon and wife Amelia of Shreveport, Louisiana, Billy Joe Weldon of Shreveport, Louisiana; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other cherished family and friends.
