I met Mrs. Bettie several years ago when she and I were getting our hair done at the same place. Terri introduced us and it seemed like we were there throughout the years on the same day. I last saw her and her husband about a week and a half ago when she was getting her hair done. She made a lasting impact on me, it did not matter what she was going through or how she felt, she never stopped smiling. I have never heard anyone talk about how much she loved her husband and her family. She glowed when she would mention Sidney's name. She was a very precious and beautiful lady inside and out. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Aunt Bet was one of the finest women I've every known. So loving and non-judgmental....a beautiful, understanding person who showed me "back when" to always try to be positive. I picked up the phrase "doing my chores" from her and Sidney and smile when saying that because I always think of them together. She is loved and will be missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Chuck called this morning Tuesand told me about Bettie. I was floored. My heart goes out to you and the entire family. Know that Bettie was one of God's special angels sent here for us all. My life is richer and fuller having had Bettie in my life. She was a dear friend. My regret is that I didn't stay in touch like I should have, I got too wrapped up in my own life. For that I apologize. Bettie and I saw each other in August and it was a good visit. I will cherish that moment. I teach Adult Ed on Mon and Tues night or I would be there this evening. I unfortunately am tied up getting ready for GEE testing and can not take off tomorrow Wed. Know that my prayers and thoughts are of and with you. God bless you all in this most trying time. Love, Sherrie
