Bessie Mae Hinton Cole Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe Graveside services for Mrs. Bessie Mae Hinton Cole, 78 of Zachary, LA, formerly of Monroe, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Hasley Cemetery-West Monroe. Mrs. Cole was born November 5, 1928 in West Monroe and died November 2, 2007 in Zachary, LA. Mrs. Cole was the daughter of the late Turner Marvin and Lucille Becton Hinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Cole and her brother, Turner Marvin Hinton, Jr. Mrs. Cole retired from the Ouachita Parish Public Library. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monroe, and was the church librarian for many years. Survivors include her three sons, Danny Cole and wife Martha of Towson, MD, Robert Cole and wife Jill of Jasper, AR, David Cole and wife Sherry of Pride, LA; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Hilary, Ben, Michael and Madeline Cole; sister, Frances Webb and husband Al; sister-in-law, Mebble Hinton; three step-grandchildren, five step great- grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer≠s Association or the charity of your choice.
