Mrs. Bessie Frost Butler Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Frost Butler, age 89, will be 10:00 A.M, Wednesday, April 18, 2007 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. Dan McClure. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Calhoun under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mrs. Butler was born in Pleasant Valley, LA and passed away in Gastonia, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Frost; her husband, Harrel T. Butler; grandson, Terry Eugene Butler and 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Survivors include her daughters, Cherry Sims and husband, Herbert of Berryville, VA and Vernie Torgerson and husband Harris of Wichita Falls, TX; sons, Harrel ¨Terry Butler and wife Midge of Gastonia, NC and James R. Butler and wife Patsy of Calhoun, LA; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Mrs. Butler was a member of Calhoun of Assembly of God. She was a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years. She enjoyed writing books and songs and published two songs. The family would like to extend a special ¨thank you to Mildred Fraley. Pallbearers will be David Torgerson, Rodney Torgerson, Jason Butler, Trey Johnson, Mark Copeland, Elvin Crawford and Thomas Hennington. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Godwin, Thomas Spurlock and Johnny Bamburg. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
