Funeral services for Bennie Edward Washam will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, August 3, 2020 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe. Brother Brian Rankin will officiate with interment following at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
Bennie was born on December 26, 1937 in Mangham, Louisiana and passed away on July 31, 2020 in Winnsboro, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hughel Bernard Washam and Dorotha Vestal Washam; siblings, Jim Clyde Washam, Bonnie Lee Washam Cox and husband, Eugene.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Geneva Williams Washam; children, Deron Edward Washam, Scott Washam and wife Pamela Etier Washam; brother, Robert Washam and wife Nellie Washam; four grandchildren, Mystie Freeman and husband Clint, Hollie Fisher, Paul Washam and wife Lucy, Timothy Washam and wife Whitney; ten great-grandchildren, Noah, Jonah, and Cooper Freeman, Evan, Edyn, Audrie, and Loralei Fisher, Shepherd and Magnolia Washam and Cypress Washam, many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Clint Freeman, Noah Freeman, Paul Washam, Ben Washam, Todd Maxwell, and Dennis Kelly.
