The good Lord delivered Benjamin Francis Bratton, 68, home on April 25, 2018. Funeral services will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, at 1:00 on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.Bengie was born on December 1, 1949, in Alexandria, LA, and passed away peacefully. He retired from Bell South with 40 years of service. Whether it be football or baseball, the LSU Tigers and his LSU tailgate buddies have been one of his passions over the years; and he could cook! His real joy, however, was spending time with his children and grandchildren.Preceded in death by his parents B.F. and Lucille Bratton; and also his brother Robert RockyBratton.Left to cherish his memory are his wife Melissa Walters Bratton, son Jacob(Kayla) Bratton; daughter Karen (Heath) Smith; sons Shane (Lisa) McGuffin and Matthew (DeAnna) McGuffin. He also leaves behind his brothers Dennis(Linda) Bratton and Larry(Pam) Bratton; sister-in-law Martha. Dear Melissa. I was so terribly sorry to hear about sweeti Benji passing away. He is now in the loving arms of our Lord. The Heavens have gained a great man. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Bratton family. May God Bless each of you and comfort you during this time of sorrow.

Words have a tendency to fade but Benji's spirit will be with us forever. May the Lord be with you.
