Barry James Kirby, age 23, of West Monroe, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Barry was born on September 18, 1989 and lived in Sulphur, Louisiana until he was five years old. He resided in West Monroe, Louisiana for 13 years where he was a graduate of West Monroe High School in 2008. Barry attended Career Technical College and was set to graduate this past March to be a radiology technician. Barry had an infectious smile and a true love of life. He enjoyed being outdoors, skateboarding, fishing, hunting, and playing golf. A memorial in honor and celebration of Barry's life is being hosted by his mother, Lisa Miller-Kirby, his sister, Bridget Allen, and her husband, Justin Allen on Friday, May 24 at 6:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Assistant Pastor Terry Taylor will be officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm until the time of service.
