Memorial services for Barbara Lois Bailey of West Monroe, LA, age 74, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe, LA with Bro. Louis Redden officiating. Mrs. Bailey was born January 17, 1933 in Ouachita Parish and passed away June 1, 2007 in Monroe, LA. Mrs. Bailey worked many years as a cook on a tow boat and really loved traveling the many rivers and waterways. She was a member of West Ouachita Senior Center and her passion was china painting. She loved gardening and her flowers. She was preceded in death by a son: Richard Allen Shaw and daughter: Cecilia Lois Shaw. Mrs. Bailey is survived by daughters: Deborah Lynn Shaw Cox and Sherry Diane Shaw Miller; son: Michael Ray Shaw; brothers: Clayton Smith and David Smith; sisters: Joyce Smith Mitchell; grandchildren: Phillip Brandon Cox, James Cecil Shaw, Nathanial Wayne Miller, and Jessyca Lois Miller.
