Graveside services for Barbara Jean Bell, 82, of Farmerville, LA., will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Sibley Cemetery in Choudrant, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.  Bro. Terry Cole will officiate.

Barbara was born April 24, 1939 in Farmerville, LA and passed away on September 23, 2021 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father, Ezekiel Phillips; mother, Eunice Diffy Phillips; husband, James E. Bell; step-son, William R. Bell and step-grandson, Cory Dale Otwell.

She is survived by her step-daughters, Christina Brown (Rick) and Karen  Otwell; (Micheal “Freck”); grandchildren, Nicole Johnson, Levi Johnson, Brandi Floyd, Jeff Floyd, Jamie Otwell, Nathan Brown and Jason McBee;  great-grandchildren, Cole (Andrea), Ethan & Briley Fredericks, July & June Johnson, Bailey Brown, Laney Floyd, and Madison Brown and great- great grandchildren, Paislee Fredericks and Michael Cory Fredericks.

I am so sorry to see about Barbara Jean. She was a wonderful loving lady. I hadn't talk to her in a long time. Have lots of memories of time spent there when I was young when they were living in the old house and even more when they built the new house. Always lots to learn about when we were there and Mamaw would go stay with Aunt Eunice and Uncle Zeke. God has a new angel for sure! Barbara Jean was a hard worker all of her life and enjoyed her homeplace dearly. She was a very special person and never met a stranger. She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.
