Funeral services for Barbara Hinton, 72, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 in the chapel at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  Pastor Jason Hinton will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in West Monroe.  Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Barbara was born September 22, 1951, in West Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on April 14, 2024, in West Monroe, Louisiana. She retired from Graphic Packaging after 41 years of service.  Barbara served 10 years with Epsilon Sigma Alpha where she contributed to raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie Howell; and father, Jesse Howell.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Amber Hinton Mathews and her husband Dustin; son, Jason Hart Hinton and his wife Alicia; granddaughters, Brookelyn Hinton, Emma Mathews; grandson, Jackson Hinton; niece, Nikki Martin and her husband Brandon; nephew, Scott Bullock and his wife Ashley; sister, Renee Snipes and her husband Steve; best friend, Wanda Lewis; along with many other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Mathews, Scott Bullock, Steve Snipes, Brandon Martin and Johnny Howell.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
