Funeral services for Barbara Anne Quail Godwin will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 25, 2023 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Butch Pilcher officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Barbara was born August 2, 1935 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and passed away August 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Quail and Dorothea (Dot) Cullett Quail; husband, Dale Godwin; son Lane Lofton; sisters Rosemary Carver and Marsha Quail; brothers Thomas (Tommy) Quail, Charles (Chuck) Carver and Richard Quail; nephew Doug Carver; nephew Todd Quail Barbara was a member of First Assembly of West Monroe. She had the gift of hospitality and made many delicious meals. Everyone was welcome. She loved her family and friends dearly and prayed daily for each one.

Barbara is survived by her son Bill Lofton (Cindy); daughter Darlyn Taylor (Bruce); stepson Mark Godwin, stepdaughter Lorrie Godwin; brother and sister in law Laymon and Shirley Godwin granddaughter Naomi Dvoretsky (Rachel); grandsons Michael Lofton(Stacy); Isaac Lofton and Luke Lofton; Nine great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Lennie Lofton; brother David Quail; sister Bonnie Cafarelli; niece Nancy L’Hote; nephew Chris Quail; nephew Mike Lofton; many other relatives and friends.
