Henry Gilbert left a message on February 13, 2018:
A.B. interviewed and hired me for my first forestry position with Olinkraft after my graduation from LA Tech in 1974. He always had my deepest respect as a person and the leader of the forestry group. Merlin was instrumental in my opportunity to interview with A B and has my same respect and appreciation. My condolences to the family of this great man.

My thoughts and prayers to Merlin and Jane. You have provided the love and care for Mr. A.B. these last years. My fondest memory occurred when Mr. A.B. and Merlin came by the office on day a few years ago. . When, I showed them my print of the "SPIRIT OF LSU " that I had hanging on the wall, Mr. A.B., began to tell the whole story of his brave , historic service to our USA during WWII. What and honor to be in his the presence . A Salute to a true American Hero!!!!
Jeanette Saunders left a message on February 11, 2018:
Psalms 90:10 says “Seventy is the sum of our years, or eighty, if we are strong.” Mr. Benard’s strength lasted over 90 years! What a legacy of memories for family and friends. However, that does not compare to eternal life promised at John 3:16. That is only possible through the resurrection. Jesus will bring back to life those who sleep in death just as he did for his friend Lazarus. (Luke 5:12, 13; John 11:39-44) Millions will be raised from death, providing them with a prospect to live forever. Then envision the reunions as loved ones, who were kept apart by death, hold one another again. Life without end—At Last! (Rev 21:4).
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
