Graveside services for Mr. Austin Garrett Durbyn, Sr. will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, July 27, 2007 at Hall Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Rev. Jimmy Pierce will be officiating and services will be under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA. Mr. Durbyn was born on August 27, 1915 in Caddo Oklahoma and passed away July 22, 2007 in Monroe, LA. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of World War II in the U. S. Army. Mr. Durbyn is survived by his wife: Virginia Durbyn; daughters: Tammy McDonald and Brandy Halley and husband, Jason; sons: Austin Durbyn, Jr. and wife, Sandra, Alfred Durbyn and wife, Kay, Claude Durbyn and wife, Marcie, David Durbyn and wife, Karen and Steve Durbyn; 24 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
