Funeral services for Audrey Louise Tarver Joiner, age 82, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. David Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mrs. Joiner was born on September 29, 1928 in Gilbert, LA and passed away on January 10, 2011 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of College Place Baptist Church and the Joy-Cain Sunday School Class. She was a Notary Public, member of ABWA, a real estate broker, and Deputy Clerk of Court for Ouachita Parish for over 30 years. She was a wonderful cook and everyone was welcome at her table. Mrs. Joiner was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Ruby Tarver; husband, James W. Joiner; sisters, Eleanor Marionneaux and Faye T. Elkin; brothers, Ellis Tarver and J. W. Tarver. Mrs. Joiner is survived by her daughter, Patricia Joiner Gallagher; sons, Wayne Joiner and wife, Renea and Jimmy Joiner; stepchildren, James Benjamin Joiner and wife, Allison and Jerelyn Joiner Corbman and husband, Roger; grandchildren, Andrea Joiner Hamm and husband, Wesley, Adam Joiner and wife, Nina, Adrianne Joiner Munson and husband, Bret, Audra E. Joiner, Meghan E. Gallagher, and Bonnie C. Gallagher; 3 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, Madelyn, Keegan, Hayden and Brookelyn; sister, Elizabeth Jean Bettye McKemie; and sister-in-law, Gertrude Smith. Pallbearers will be: Wesley Hamm, Bret Munson, Mark Marionneaux, Todd Harris, Tyler Harris and Tyler Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be: nephews, Bill Marionneaux, David Elkin, and John W. Tarver, Jr. and nieces, Melanie McKemie Anderson, Marcie McKemie, and Sheila Kaye Tarver. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
