Mr. Aubrey Aulds Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Funeral services for Mr. Aubrey Aulds, age 83, of Ruston will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 10, 2011 at Cook Baptist Church in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. David Hanna. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Mr. Aulds was born October 26, 1927 and passed away June 7, 2011. Mr. Aulds was an honorably discharged Veteran from the Merchant Marines. He was a direct descendant of James Huey, who was the first settler in North East Louisiana and who fought in the Revolutionary War. Mr. Aulds was a barber in Ruston for almost 50 Years. He was preceded in death by all of his siblings; and wife: Lettie Elizabeth Hanna Aulds. Mr. Aulds is survived by his children: Robert Sidney Aulds and wife Tina of Mineral Springs, LA; Susan Inez Aulds of Austin, TX; Angela Aulds Hitt of Mineral Springs, LA; Janie Aulds Fontenot and husband Thomas of Ruston, LA; and Jennifer Aulds Jackson also of Ruston, LA; 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Special thanks to Dr. Ben Grigsby, Hospice of Caring Hearts, and sitters: Haley Isaac and Connie Roy.
