The Houston Brister family grieves with you on the passing of one giant of a man. It is also conforting to know that Arshal is resting in the arms of Jesus. We so fondly remember that cold December in 1946 when Arshal and his lovely bride, Kathleen, spent their honeymoon with us. Kathleen, we love you and pray that god will quickly heal your hurt and sorrow. Dee Brister Alexandria,La. 71301 318-448-7009

I loved Arshal Lee so much! So many memories from my childhood have him in it - I can still remember like it was yesterday going dog hunting with Daddy and Arshal Lee, and Arshal Lee always had a truck full of beagles ready to go! When the hunt was over, they used to let me be the one to round all of the dogs back up - I think they used me for their entertainment! He always used to tell me "see there, Carol...you DID get to go dog hunting!" I never saw him without a smile on his face. He was such an amazing man and I know everyone will feel the loss so very deeply. I am thinking about each of you. Love ya'll!
