Funeral services for Mr. Arel E. Stockstill, Sr., 81, will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. Jim Shook. Interment will follow at Monroe Memorial Park, Highway 80, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mr. Stockstill was born on March 1, 1925 and passed away on January 7, 2007. Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Mary Rhodes Stockstill; sons, Arel Stockstill, Jr. and Ronnie Stockstill; daughters, Dianne Corbin and Pat Hammett and husband Sam; grandchildren, Jeff and Crystal Stockstill, Shane and Toni Higginbotham, Chris and Jacqui Corbin, Dustin Hammett, Kym Corbin and Steven and Kayla Lineberger, special grandchild, Brandi Smithwick; great grandchildren, Kali and Blake Corbin and Branson and Jacob Stockstill and Cole Higginbotham. Mr. Stockstill was retired from Choice Brands. Pallbearers will be Jeffery S. Stockstill, Chris Corbin, Shane Higginbotham, Dustin Hammett, Sam Hammett and Chris Brown.
