Funeral services for Mrs. Aral Tippen Ellis, age 84, will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 9, 2007, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. Sherwood Smith and Pastor Mark Foster. Interment will follow in the Tippen Chapel Family Cemetery in Womack, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mrs. Ellis was born on January 1, 1923 in Womack, LA and passed away on November 6, 2007 in West Monroe, LA. She was born to the union of Amy and Dennis Tippen of Womack. Mrs. Ellis was a retired License Practical Nurse at St. Francis and E.A. Conway. She is survived by her daughter; Jennifer Fuller and husband, Terry; sons, Pete Sims and wife, Gwennet, Mike Sims and wife, Yvonne, Phil Phillips and wife, Kathy; brothers, Don Tippen and wife, Darlene and Dervis Tippen; sister, Amy Barker and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, James Sims, Chris Simons, Le≠Sann Smith, Anthony Sims, Sis Kennedy, Craig Simons, Ben Fuller, Kyle Sims, Phillip Phillips, Jr., Candy Phillips, Sarah Phillips and Chad Boudoin. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, James Sims, Kyle Sims, Anthony Sims, Craig Simons, Ben Fuller and Phillip Phillips, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Boudoin and Terry Simons. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Thursday, November 8, 2007, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
