Funeral services for Annie Nell Bearden Stein Taylor will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Downsville, LA. with Bro. Jarrod Bearden officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the church under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Annie was born December 28, 1944 and passed away March 23, 2024. She was a homemaker and a caregiver for Joe for 40 years and excellent caregiver for Robbie when needed. One of the greatest wives any man could ask for. She cared for her mom several years before her death. Annie loved cooking and a great cook famous for her country fried chicken and chocolate pies. She loved working in her yard and crocheting. Annie and Robbie loved traveling to Branson. Annie and Robbie loved going to eat at Hollis Seafood in Spearsville every Thursday and Saturday night. She lived a quiet life and loved her friends and she was very devoted to both husbands. She made sure they were fed and taken care of even fixed their meds. Annie was one of a kind.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband’s Joseph Stein and Robbie Taylor; parents Odessa Acree Bearden and father Oscar Bearden; brother Johnny William Bearden.

Annie is survived by sister Joyce Bearden and brother Oscar Bearden, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
