Mrs. Annie Bennett Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Bennett, 78, of Spearsville, LA will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Spearsville First Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. James Miller. Interment will be at Spearsville Cemetery in Spearsville under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Bennett passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2006 in Ruston. She was a member of Spearsville First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, John R. Bennett of Spearsville; daughters, Patsy Colvin and husband Rodney of Dubach, Linda Broome of Choudrant; son, Walter Broome of Choudrant; stepsons, Jeff Bennett and fianc© Debbie of Ruston, John Rex ¨Chip Bennett and wife Leona of Monroe; brother, Joe Seay of Bernice; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Hunter Bennett, Chris Rinehart, Rod Colvin, Ben Walker, Nathan Walker and Robert Walker. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until service time Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the church.
