Mrs. Van Veckhoven was born in Los Angeles, California on November 5, 1924 and passed away in Monroe, Louisiana on September 21, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Truman Van Veckhoven. Survivors including her daughters, Lenell Lindsey, Ginger Solberg and Debbie Holland; sons, Milburn Van Veckhoven, John Van Veckhoven, Billy Van Veckhoven and Mike Van Veckhoven; grandchildren, Ryan Lindsey, Laine Van Veckhoven, Chandler Van Veckhoven, Michael Van Veckhoven, Johnny Solberg, Kevin Solberg, Kate Solberg, Laura Solberg, William Johnston, Beth Johnston, Patton Van Veckhoven, Ledoux Van Veckhoven, Truman Van Veckhoven, Connor Van Veckhoven, Trevor Van Veckhoven, Colby Weaver and Trey Weaver; great grandchildren, Alexander Malachi Gordon, Ashley Elaine Martin, Jonathan Tyler Thomas, Damien Terrell Johnston and William Hoyt Van Veckhoven; sister, Hazel Sousa and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
