Anita was born on September 24, 1940 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on September 4, 2021 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She attended West Monroe High School and Northeast Louisiana University (now ULM). On April 4, 1998, she married Jack P. Pogue, Jr. Anita worked for Columbian Chemical for 30 years and was a member of the Twin Cities Classic Chevy Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.L. and Jewel Roach.
Anita is survived by her husband, Jack; cousins, Melba Camp and Gary Brewster; step-children, Janie Topel, John Pogue, James Pogue and Jeane Duffie; and step-granchildren, Seth Henry Topel, Mitchelle Dean Topel, Sharen Topel, Will Pogue, Finnly Pogue, Katie Beason, and Nathen Duffie; many other cherished family and friends.
