Anita was born May 1, 1961 in Monroe, LA and passed away February 22, 2o22 in Chatham, LA. She was a member of Fish Net Worship Center and worked for the U.S. Postal Service until she became medically unable.
Anita was known for loving people well. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother, and the absolute best NeeNee in the world! She was a sweet friend, a favorite sister to her brothers, and the most fun Aunt Nita to many nieces and nephews. She cared for people by sending mail, and if she sent you mail, you most likely received her famous $2 dollar bill.
Anita is survived by her husband, Thomas Hightower; daughter, Angel Conville and husband Josh; granddaughter Addyson Conville; grandson Jackson Conville; daughter, Melanie Hightower; son, Glenn Hightower and wife Tabitha; grandsons Bradley Hightower and Blake Hightower.
Pallbearers will be Alisha Waldroup, Amy Hightower, April Lamkin, Jessica Harris, Rachel Wood, Sheila Smith, Christy Naron Stone and Denise Green.
Honorary pallbearers Craig Wood, Sherri Henson and Pokeno Ladies.
