I loved Andy since the day I met him in 1982. We connected over music of course and had a band or two together over the years. We stayed in touch no matter where either of us was, he was a true friend and carried a rare beauty of soul. I miss him already.

Andrew was such a dear and loved soul. I met Andrew in the early 1990s and we became fast friends. One of the first people I ever felt a real kinship with. His friendship had a profound effect on the trajectory of my life and I will always be grateful for that. Really some of the best stuff of the universe could be found in Andrew and Andrew’s beautiful and rare light will shine within our hearts and memories. I will miss him dearly. Much love and comfort during this difficult time to you all.

My deepest condolences to Andrews family. I will never forget this beautiful human being who I met one summer in 1991 when he came to Florida to visit his friend Sharon. We met and hit it off overnight we hung out on the big hammock on the beach with friend enjoy drinks and conversation. Andrew came with me to my first concert which was the B-52's one of the best times of my life. We exchange letters after he went back home exchanged cassette tapes. We eventually lost contact and re-connected last year thru facebook. Andrew was always very dear to my heart and left a huge impact on my early adult life. I am so sorry he was taken so early I would have loved to go to a concert again with him. You will never be forgotten and always be close to my heart as the kind and genuine chill guy the handsome guy with long hair and the John Lenon glasses. I love you Andrew someday we will meet again. See you on the other side

Charla - so sad to learn of our loss of Andy. God was on the mark taking Bobby home first because a Mom can almost not place a child to rest. She loved you both so dearly but never admitted y’all were young adults - you remained HER BABIES. Andy was such a multi-talented person. Lean on God, Charla! Get as close to Him as you can! He is our ONLY HOPE - LIVE FOR HIM BECAUSE THAT’S ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS. Holding you up in our prayers - me, Mom, Pete & Gwenette! We love you and your family!
