Funeral services for Amos Vallery will be at 3:00 PM, Friday, June 10, 2016 at Living Way Apostolic Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev Nathan Thornton and Rev. Jason Hodge officiating. Interment will follow at Vallery Cemetery in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.Mr. Vallery was born on February 10, 1930 in Monroe, LA. and passed away on June 6, 2016 in Calhoun, LA. He was previouslyemployed with Olinkraft Paper Mill and was the owner/operator of Vallery Appliance Service. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Living Way Apostolic Church.He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Verlyn Beatrice Smith Vallery; parents, Timothy and Victoria Vallery; brother, Oliver R. Vallery; sisters, Rose Vallery Bryan and Ella Mae Vallery Hibbard and daughter-in-law, Patsy Turnage ValleryHe is survived by his sons, Steve Vallery and wife Pat, Mark Vallery, David Vallery, Paul Vallery, Andrew Vallery and wife Amber, Philip Vallery and wife, Joni, Jonathan Vallery and wife, Trudy, Nathan Vallery and wife, Kyoko, Joel P. Vallery and wife, Angie, and daughter, Micah Williams; sister, Myrtle Vallery Fowler; brothers, Joseph Vallery and wife, Faye and Leonard Vallery and wife, Sarah; 44 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 greatgreat grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.Pallbearers will be Steve Vallery, Mark Vallery, David Vallery, Paul Vallery, Andrew Vallery, Philip Vallery, Jonathan Vallery, Nathan Vallery, and Joel P. Vallery.Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Living Way Apostolic Church.
