Funeral services for Alvin ¨Bert Anding, 75, of West Monroe, LA will be held 10 AM, Friday, May 26, 2006 at Luna Methodist Church, West Monroe, LA. Interment to follow at Luna Methodist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Taylor and Rev. Don Johnson under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Mr. Anding was born December 2, 1930 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on May 23, 2006 at his residence after a brief illness. Mr. Anding≠s life revolved around his wife and children. He was a retired service manager of 28 years at Scott Construction Equipment. Those that knew him knew he never retired because he enjoyed his cattle, farming, and helping others so much. Bert was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Mr. Anding was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lea Anding his father, Lee R. Anding, and his mother, Mamie Cloyd Anding; and a son in law: Jerry Robert. Survivors are his daughters: Cherry Anding, Nina Robert, and Dianna Gibson and husband, Ray; son: Albo Anding and wife, Terri; 1 brother: Ray Anding; 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; 4 nieces and 3 nephews. Pallbearers will be Robby Robert, Alif Gibson, Harvey Gibson, Jimmy Gibson, Rusty Anding, Shane Hafler, and James Holloway. Honorary pallbearer is Craig Pate, Huey Hutson and Matt Hutson. Visitation will be 10 AM Thursday until service time Friday at the church.
