Alma Guerrero

Funeral services for Alma Guerrero, 88, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Living Way Apostolic Church in West Monroe, La. with Rev. Carl Shurte and Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson, La. under the directions of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Alma was born January 14, 1920 in Welder, Texas and passed away February 24, 2008 in Monroe, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her father; Alberto Guerrero, mother; Donaciana Hernendez Guerrero, brothers; Bico, Martin, Johnny and Higinio Guerrero, sister; Mary Martinez. A beloved aunt and second mother to many. She loved reading her bible and teaching others about the word of God. She enjoyed teaching family traditions to her family. Above all she was a prayer warrior who loved attending church and serving God. Truly earth?s loss is Heaven?s gain.She is survived by her nephews; Pablo Guerrero and wife Donna of Columbia, Leo Guerrero and wife Sandy of Columbia, Noel Guerrero and wife Linda of Columbia, Danny Guerrero and wife Janice of Columbia, Johnny Guerrero, nieces Olga McClanahan and husband Roger of Columbia, Rosemary Guerrero of Round Rock, Texas, Gloria Guerrero of Columbia, Maria Guerrero of Columbia, Sara Duncan and husband Woody of West Monroe.
