Allen L. Willis Funeral services for Allen L. Willis, age 60, of Ruston, LA will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 21, 2011 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating the service will be Gene Reeves. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Allen was born in Ruston on August 13, 1950 and died in Ruston on March 18, 2011. He graduated from Ruston High School and attended Louisiana Tech University and belonged to the Ruston Church of God. After 34 years, Allen retired from St. Gobain Glass Plant of Simsboro, LA as a forklift driver. He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred M. Willis; brother, Tommy Willis; step-father, Jesse Collinsworth; paternal grandparents, Jim and Vandora Willis; and maternal grandparents, Luke and Eva Blackwelder. Allen is survived by his wife, Judy Diffey Willis of Ruston; daughters, Stacy Willis Hicks and husband Lee of Farmerville and Shannon Willis of Ruston; sons, Lance Willis of Baton Rouge, LA and Jason Willis of Ruston; his mother, Margaret Willis Collinsworth of Arcadia, LA; grandchildren, Blake Brown, Ashley Hicks, Tanner Hicks of Farmerville, LA and Laiken Willis of Quitman, LA; step- grandchildren, Mariah Lutrick and Tyler Lutrick of Quitman, LA; siblings, Charles Willis and wife Sherrie of Arcadia, LA; Danny Willis and wife Beverly of Choudrant, LA; Diane Willis of Ruston, LA; Billy Willis and wife Linda of Ruston, LA ; uncle, James L. Willis of Fruitvale, TX; uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Blackwelder of Monroe, LA; special cousins, Dr. Mark Blackwelder and Jerene Fuller both of Ruston; mother-in-law, Lillian Diffey of Simsboro; sister-in-law, Dianne Diffey of Simsboro; brothers-in-law, David Diffey and wife Debra of Athens, LA and Rickey Diffey of Simsboro, LA; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Matt Willis, Michael Willis, Jason Council, Rickey Diffey, Casey Diffey, and Josh Jordan. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M.
