Allen was born July 20, 1958 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away June 27, 2020 in West Monroe, Louisiana. He worked at Bancroft Bag for over 40 years. Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Myrtis Balsamo; brothers, Leo, Tommy, Frank, James, Gene, Willis and Vincent.
Allen is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kathy Balsamo; children, Jamie Balsamo (Kristen), Crystle Price, Russell Field and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Castien, Devien, Breanna, Lucas, Jacob, Noah, Sarah Grace, Annabell and Alle; siblings, John, Edgar, Steve, Roger, Gloria, Anne and Sally; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family and friends.
