We met Skip when he and Angela first started going to Antiques Week in Round Top Texas. We both felt that Skip was one of those friendly, warm-hearted people that you just feel comfortable being around. His love for Angela was obvious watching them interact. The world lost a true gentleman who will be missed by the many people he met in his life, especially the true love of his, Angela. Our deepest condolences to the entire family on your loss. May he rest in peace in God’s grace…

To Skipper's family - I'm so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. The Facebook memorial that had Jordan Peterson's statement is such a profound statement: Don't underestimate the hole your absence would leave. - Skipper was such a kind man with a winning smile. He was two years older than me in school. My family was poor and my classmates didn't mind reminding me of it on a regular bases. One particularly trying day Skipper was ahead of me in the lunch line and asked me my name and flashed that ever present smile. He was just a kind "big brother" guy. I never told him just how much that small act of kindness meant to me. He never forgot my name and would say hello to me in school hallways of school. It meant the world to me! Skipper - May you be blessed by God and greeted by angels in heaven. Rest in peace.
