Funeral services for Alfred Peter Bryan, 74, of Eros, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Crossroads Cowboy Church, West Monroe. Pastors Eric Bryan and Vince Roussin will officiate. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery near Eros under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M prior to the service at the church.
Alfred was born on September 20, 1949, in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed away in the early morning of April 5, 2024, in Monroe, Louisiana. His life was filled with a tremendous amount of moments that connected him with the outdoors and his friends and family. Alfred thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing all across the south. He enjoyed sitting on his back porch, often accompanied with his closest friends and family. Alfred was quick to provide humor and putting people at ease, which was one of his most loved characteristics. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Montaut and Elvera Ladet; adoptive parents, Russell Bryan and Dorothy Bryan; mother-in-law, Mamie Tedeton; brother-in-law, Mickey Russell; father-in-law, Muriel Tedeton; previous father-in-law, Alvy George; nephew, Stacey Russell.
Alfred’s memory is cherished by his wife of 53 years, Cherri Bryan; sons, Chad Bryan and wife Tobie, Eric Bryan and wife Queenie; grandchildren, Jake and wife Haley, Josh, Morgan, Madison, and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Lexi, Aurora and Liam; brother, Albert Bryan and wife Donna; sisters, Linda, Patsy, Brenda; sisters-in-law, Diane McGehee and husband Bob, Kathy Hebert and husband Mark; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Russell and wife Irene, Randy Russell and wife Cathy; numerous nieces and nephews and many cherished family and friends.
