Shane Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Alana was born December 28, 2000 in Monroe, LA and passed away February 3, 2008 in Shreveport, LA. Alana was in first grade at Highland Elementary, she was a student of Mrs. Hope Evans and was always a straight A student on the principal list. She attended In His Steps Fellowship Church. Alana was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Robbie Wheat.She is survived by her mother, Kelley Howard Townsend and step-daddy Chris Townsend; father, Daniel Naron; sister, Crystalyn Swan; step-sister, Lauren Townsend; grandparents; Susan and Jamie Swillie, Steve and Cindy Howard, Johnny and Sue Naron, Linda and Robert Townsend; great-grandparents; Alfred and Margie Howard. Willie and Faye Swillie, Judy and Jesse Brown; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Pallbearers will be Ken Howard, Wayne Howard, Mark Underwood Jr., and Jared Townsend.Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.In lieu of floral tributes the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alana Naron Fund at Ouachita Valley Federal Credit Union.

My Heart goes out to the family..I meet Alana when she was 3 and was the most precious little girl that loved her daddy. Daniel if anyone would have asked my about you being a father I would tell them that you was the best of the best? I pray God will carry each one of you when you feel you can not go on. √Ç¬†

We would like to let you know that we are deeply saddened by your loss. I was Alana's kindergarten class room mom. She was always a joy to be around and always had a smile on her beautiful face. Belle has been so sad since we found out and Alana has been on her mind so much. Belle said that "Alana was always so nice to her and she loved how they always played together at school." I met this beautiful little girl a few years back at my sisters. Alana and her father came over to visit with them and I thought she was the most precious thing! Beautiful hair and such a doll! I am terribly sorry for the loss!!!

So sorry for the loss of Alana.In times like this words can't express what your going through.I never got to meet or know her but i feel like i did. My prayers and thoughts are with your family and just remember Alana is God's angel now.
