Thinking of all gathered today to celebrate Bill Norris's life. I remember Uncle Bill as warm and smiling, kidding around with me and his other nieces and nephews on Aunt Frances's side of the family. I also remember him as an educator-on-the-spot, ready to respond to what showed up in the outdoors we of the next generation were privileged to explore with him from time to time. He directed our attention to a detail we might not have noticed, rewarded our curiosity, shared the wonder. With deepest sympathies I wish all his family and friends comfort in loss.

Our lives have been brightened in the past by Bill's friendship. It was truly a pleasure to be a faculty colleague of his at NLU.

Condolences to the Norris family, I am deeply sorry for the pain and emptiness of heart you are sharing. Soon all pain, sickness and death will be no more. The opportunity for life on a peaceful earth with those Jesus Christ will call from the memorial tombs will be rewarding. (John 5:28 &29; Revelation 21:4)
