William “Rodney” Ruby, 77, of Farmerville, LA., passed away on April 20, 2020 in Farmerville, LA. Private Graveside services will be held on April 22, 2020 at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Farmerville, LA with Bro. J.L. Foster officiating under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA.

Rodney was born on January 10, 1943 in Spearsville, LA.  He served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Knox, Kentucky and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Spearsville, LA. He retired from Ronnie Ward Toyota.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Susie Ruby, and his sister, Josephine Stansbury.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Davey Ann (Susie) Ruby of Farmerville, LA; children, Monica Ruby Temple and husband Marc of Farmerville, LA; William Rodney (Bill) Ruby, Jr., and wife Kim of Choudrant, LA; David Todd Perkins and wife Michelle of Keithville, LA; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Ruby, Parker Temple and wife Skylar  , Savannah Temple, Caroline Temple Alford and husband Zach, and Evan Ruby; 2 great-grandchildren, Rhae Leigh Hart, and Kylee Hart; 1 brother, Jesse B. Ruby and numerous nieces and nephews.
