William Matthew Kelley, 49, of Ruston, LA went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2025. He left a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and sense of humor. He was always the Life of the party.
Matt was born on November 23, 1975, to Loyde and Sue Kelley in West Monroe, LA. He was a delightful child and grew into an amazing young man. After graduating High School, he joined the Desert Hill Fire Department and lived out his dream of becoming a first responder in his community. Matt married Lyla Bushie and they had one son, Logan. Matt soon joined his father and helped grow their remodeling and painting business in Lake Havasu, AZ. He continued until he had to retire because of his medical problems. Matt was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Sue and his brother, Daniel Gray.
He is survived by his father Loyde Kelley; sister, Leah Miceli of Las Vegas; son, Logan of Woodbury, MN, and many cousins, uncles and aunts. Our thanks to all that kept his spirits up and provided assistance during his fight with kidney failure. We will miss him today and forever; Matt now flies Free!
