Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Interment will follow at the Cook Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.Mr. Ross was born January 1, 1946 in Ruston and passed away on August 8, 2015 in Ruston, LA. He is survived by his children: Stephanie Shae Ross and William H. Casey Ross, IV.Bill was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Ruston. He was an employee for the State of Louisiana for 25 years. Bill served at Louisiana State University in Shreveport in the Poison Control Center and was the Director of the Drug Information Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. His professional capacity was that of a Pharmacist, Toxicologist, and a Drug Information specialist.Bill was a loving and devoted father to Shae and Casey and was also an active member of the Ruston community. He was also involved in historical preservation and other civic matters. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mattie Willis Ross and William H. Bill Ross, II.All are welcome who want to pay their respects at the visitation which will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 1:00P.M. 3:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
