Funeral services for William Arthur “Pickle” Gray, Sr. will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Danny Mcllveene officiating. Interment will follow at Lynn Cemetery in Archibald, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.Mr. Gray was born on August 29, 1928 in Mangham, LA and passed away on May 25, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Rozella Gray; son-in-law, Danny Walters; sisters, Dorothy Lowery and Marie Young; brothers, June Gray and Earl Gray.Mr. Gray served in the United States Army as a Corporal from 1950-1952 during the Korean War. He worked at IMC for 38 years as a Heavy equipment mechanic. He loved fishing and gardening.He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lovie Jean; daughters, Lynn Gray West (Mike), Cherry Morris (Randy), Debbie Walters, Lori Powell; sons, Art Gray (Michelle) and Billy King (Kim); brothers and sisters, Carl Gray (Annie Ruth), Gene Gray (Shirley), Annie Young (Billy), Ralph Gray (Marsha); grandchildren, Bailey, Kelsey, Ashley, Chris, Jenay, Dana, and Casey; eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be: Chuck Gray, Chris Antley, Steve Gray, Terry Gray, Kelly Gray, and Keith Gray.Honorary pallbearers will be: Mike Young and Walter Lowery.Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, May 27, 2016 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
