Funeral services for Wayne McGhee will be held at 3:30 PM, Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Allan Eppinette will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Wayne was born July 29, 1970 in Bastrop, LA and passed away June 12, 2018 in West Monroe. He loved his family and friends and was an avid sports fan. Wayne enjoyed talking sports with anyone who cared to listen. He was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. Wayne was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Dela Rean McGhee; maternal grandparents, Albert and Doris Hemphill.Wayne is survived by his wife, Angel McGhee; children, Kellen McGhee, Aaron, J. Farrar, Hanna L. Farrar and Jordan W. Yates; mother, Glenda DeMoss; father, Jimmy McGhee; sister, Sherry McGhee; nephews, Corbin McGhee and Logan McGhee; niece, Cori Crossley.Pallbearers will be David Jones, Frankie Muchinski, Mark Ray, James Davis, Chad Solomon, and Randy Walser.Honorary pallbearers will be Corbin McGhee, Aaron Farrar and Logan McGhee.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.comKilpatrick Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA

Always had a positive outlook on life and a heart of gold!

My guy, from the first time we met and how great a friend you were to me. And all the fun times we shared with the good and bad included, I wouldn't change anything! From you, jerry, and me walking from the back side of Bussey brake to the front when we got my chevy luv stuck to you and bennie showing up at my house with mason jars full of quarters and you two asking me if I could cash them in and could we throw a keg party over at my parents house!! From going to the river and hanging out to talking about LSU sports. Making memories with you my friend were some of the best times in my life and will always have a place in my heart! You will be missed so much! Keep an ear to the clouds my friend so when I need to say "what's up " and let you know how things are going down here, the memory of you and that big dimpled smile and laugh will pop up in my mind. Rest in peace my brother from another mother!!
