Ms. Wanza was a "ray of sunshine" to many at WMGH. I was blessed by her presence as I did programming there for Ouachita Parish Public Library. She is one of the reasons retiring was a hard decision for me. Ms. Wanza's bright smile & sharp mind was always a great thing to booster the interaction of those attending my program. RIP sweet lady, you were a joy!

What a sweet, precious lady. I'm so sorry that she is gone but happy that she is reunited with her husband and expecially her son Charles. Charles and I went to school together and they knew that Charles did not have a long life ahead of him. I think he was about 20 years old when he passed away from heart complications. I had the honor of singing " I'll tell the world that I'm a Christian" for his memorial. She was a devoted Christian, wife and mother and Heaven is a richer place, now that she is there. God Bless all her family that took care of her over these many years. Your reward is awaiting you.

We were so sad to hear the news of Aunt Wanza's passing. With us living far away in Maryland, we exchanged many Christmas and Birthday cards over the years. Aunt Wanza's handwritten notes were always so thoughtful, loving, joyful, and kind. She will be missed by Kerry, Kyle, Daniel and I.

Ms. Wanza will surely be missed. She was a wonderful lady and was always one to offer a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear or a helping hand. We swapped books, recipes and funny stories. She was a grand lady and loved by sooo many. She is reunited with her son and her husband, friends and loved ones and we will meet again.
