Funeral services for Wanda Ann Ledford, 74, of Choudrant, will be held at 10:00 am Friday, April 16, 2021 in the chapel at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston.  Rev. David Harrell will officiate.  Interment to follow at Douglas Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-7pm, Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

Wanda was an active member of First Baptist Church Choudrant where she and her husband Allen served on the benevolence committee serving their community.  She enjoyed traveling especially on their Gold Wing trike.  She loved reading, cooking, crafting, playing games, and spending time with her family.  She could spend hours and days at “the cabin” fishing and riding on her golf cart.  She cherished her friends and family.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Allen Ledford, her daughter Lisha Turner (Michael) of Hattiesburg, MS, brother Clyde Pesnell (Joyce) of Ruston, sister Frances Baker (Jerry) of Ruston, sister Irene Perritt (Leroy) of Arcadia, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her father V. G. Pesnell, mother Maggie Pesnell, sister Betty Pesnell, and sister Jimmie Young.

Pallbearers will be Todd Pesnell, Matt Pesnell, Mike Turner, Mike Rainey, Larry Ledford, and Danny Ledford.  Honorary pallbearers are David Roach, Bill Harper, James Roach and John Franklin.
