Mr. Virgil Floyd Hibbets Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Run Date: Saturday, November 25, 2006 Funeral services for Mr. Virgil Floyd Hibbets, 88, of Monroe, NC, and a former long-time resident of West Monroe, will be Saturday morning, November 25, 2006, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Rev. Kelvin Clark, and Rev. A. B. Downs Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery on Redcut Road in West Monroe under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mr. Hibbets was born March 14, 1918, in Marston, MO, and passed away November 21, 2006, in Monroe, North Carolina. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Floyd was retired from the Mannville Corporation in West Monroe with 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mariece Downs Hibbets, his parents, Roscoe and Eva Frost Hibbets, a brother, Ivan Hibbets, and a sister, Pearl Hibbets Taylor. Mr. Hibbets is survived by his children; Wanda and Butch Lee of Holden, LA, Keith and Linda Hibbets of Indian Trail, NC, Sherwin and Kathy Hibbets of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Kirk and Debbie Lee, Shane and Scott Hibbets, Hannah, David, Rachel, and Joshua Hibbets, Tom Hibbets and wife, Jennifer, Sarah Juache and husband, Victor; great grandchildren, Natalle Hibbets, Shawn and Zoe Hibbets, and Jeffery Terrano.
