Funeral services for Vera Tindall, 72, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, Louisiana.  Bro. Tom Lowe will officiate.  Interment will follow at Cypress Baptist Cemetery, West Monroe, Louisiana, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  Visitation will be held prior to service from Noon to 2:00 P.M., at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

Vera Tindall was born on June 3, 1952, in Pasadena, Texas, and met Jesus on October 2, 2024, after a lengthy battle with heart disease.  She was known as Mamaw Vera, the community mother and grandmother, to all the kids in the Luna area, especially to the Patrick’s.  Vera was a member of Christ Church, West Monroe, Louisiana. She  is preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Annette Chandler; mother, Georgia Mae Naron; father, Lesley Tindall; sisters, Ruby Tindall, Janet Walker; brothers, T.E. Tindall, Allen Naron; and step-father, Norris Naron.

Vera is survived by her special friend and companion, Johnny Baxter; sisters, Jo Ann Snelgrove and husband Wayne, Susie Jones and husband JT, Dorothy Naff and husband Jim, Joyce Lowery and husband Gary, Patricia West and husband David, Mary Jo Tindall, Jenny Patrick and husband Darin; bonus daughter, DeeDee Patrick and husband Kevin; son, Joseph (Bill) Chandler; daughter-in-law, Wendy Chandler; grandchildren, David Chandler, Eric Chandler, and Samantha Jaiden Chandler; and her Patrick grandchildren, Jordan, K.C., Stanley, Dalton, Dakin, Danner, Keisha, Kolby, and Hunter; numerous nieces and nephews; along with extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be K.C. Patrick, Stanley Patrick, Dalton Patrick, Dakin Patrick, Danner Patrick, and Kolby Patrick.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Baxter and Johnny Lee Baxter.
