Venus Ashfaq Javed, 76, of Monroe, passed away on May 24, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born on June 13, 1948 in Sialkot, Pakistan. Venus worked as a nurse at Government Hospitals, Pakistan, and retired in 2008. She was a member of Covenent Presbyterian Church. Venus was preceded in death by her parents, Mariam and Ashfaq; and brother, Farooq Ashfaq.
Venus is survived by her husband, Qaisar Javed; daughters, Shehneela Roy and husband Haroon, Nadia Griffiths and husband Sharoon; and son Azeem Munir and wife Zartash; brother, Arshad Azeem and wife Robina; sister, Doris Alam and husband Daniel; brother, Eric Javed and wife Esther; sister, Asra and husband Victor Joseph; sister, Asifa and husband Suleman; grandchildren, Jessica, Jirah, Aiyana, Michael, Jonah, Hannah and Nathan.
Pallbearers will be Haroon Roy, Arshad Azeem, Sharoon Griffiths, Azeem Munir, Joseph Munir and Philip Azad.
Services will be on June 5, 2025 at Covenant Presbyterian Church Monroe, LA and interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park, all under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
