Officiating the service are Rev. Kurt Auger and Rev. Joe Watson. Visitation following immediately after services at the church. Interment was held at Acree Cemetery in Point, LA Troy was born on March 30, 1941 in Point, LA, and passed on February 26, 2013 in Farmerville, LA. He was a Deacon and member of First Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of Hinton's Auto Service for over 35 years. Troy's philosophy was to meet the needs of others in a quiet manner. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Joy A, Hinton; children Jodi Odom and husband Damon; Jason Hinton and wife Tonya; four grandchildren Jessie, Cade, Jake, and Ethan; twin brother Roy Hinton and wife Pat; brother Huey Hinton; sister Carolyn Dean and husband Vester; sister-in-law Twana Hinton; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
