Funeral services for Tommy Ray Malmay Sr., 78, of West Monroe, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe. Rev. Butch Pilcher will officiate and interment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday.
Tommy Ray was born on November 8, 1943 in West Monroe and passed away with his family at his side on February 19, 2022 in West Monroe. He was a member of The Assembly in West Monroe, retired from the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Department, and a member of the NRA. Tommy Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Helen Reid Malmay; brothers, Dewayne Malmay and Terry Malmay.
Tommy Ray is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Haley Malmay; three children, Tommy Malmay, Jr., Michael Malmay, Barbara Ree Malmay; four grandchildren, Madolyn Head, Nicole Malmay, Terry Malmay and Rebecca Doucett; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Sherry Shelton; special friends, Rev. Marvin Downs, Roy and Brenda Bellio; many other cherished family and friends.
The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Mindy Bryan, Freeda Johnson and Maggie May of Heart of Hospice for the care and compassion of Tommy Ray Malmay Sr.
Pallbearers will be Kabrian Dean, Larry Shelton, Terry Malmay, Dylan Doucett, Blake Head and Adam Landers.
