Funeral services for Timothy L. Griffin, 54 of Choudrant, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Longstraw Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Emory will officiate and interment will be held at Longstraw Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ Ruston. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
Timothy was born January 4, 1967 in Jonesboro, Louisiana and passed away at home after a lengthy illness on August 28, 2021. He was a roofer for Hosey Lee Construction. Timothy was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Griffin; mother, Ruby Hammons; father, Calvin “Cowboy” R. Griffin; and brother, Alvin J. Griffin.
Timothy is survived by his children, Stephanie Redlund, Tania Lechwar and husband Chris, and Christopher Priestly and wife Laurie; grandchildren, Ryan, Olivia, Isabel, Carter, Emma, Cheyanne, Caden, Charlie, Chelsea, and Kaylee; brother, Calvin P. Griffin; sisters, Carol Neal and husband Jerry, Judy Hodges and husband David, Betty Griffin; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Hodges, Heath Hodges, Jake Hodges, Calvin P. Griffin, and Scott Griffin. Honorary pallbearer will be Mason Hodges.
Memorials in Timothy’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1761 N 19th St, Monroe, LA 71201.
