Funeral services for Thomas W. “Tommy” Steen, Sr., 67, of West Monroe, are at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Christ Church with Rev. Tom Lowe officiating. Interment follows at Lake Providence Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Tommy was born June 13, 1944 in Greenwood, Mississippi and passed away March 28, 2012 in West Monroe. Tommy was a retired boilermaker for Boilermakers Union Baton Rouge. He was a member of Christ Church, the Masonic Lodge #284 and the NRA. Tommy served in the United States Navy. His hobbies were gunsmithing, target shooting, fishing, racing and motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimbo Steen; daughter, Susie Steen; parents, John and Ruth Steen; and brother, Wayne Steen. Tommy is survived by his wife, Patricia Steen; son, Tommy Steen, Jr and wife Kelly; daughter, Angie Steen; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Steen; grandchildren, Ty, Cody, Ashley, J.J., Lynzee, Max, Samantha and Ethan; great-grandchildren; Macy, Kobe, and C.J.; mother-in-law, Devona Stephens; brother and sister-in-laws, Bill and Martha Stephens and Ruby and Mark Gulley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Donald Clark, John David Gulley, Cody Steen, J. J. Steen, Joe Holder and Dennis Bolton. Visitation is Friday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Christ Church, West Monroe.
