Kneishia Davis left a message on December 22, 2014:
“Psalm 146:4 says that when a man dies, “his thoughts do perish.” We are mortal and do not survive the death of our body. The life we enjoy is like the flame of a candle. When the flame is put out, it does not go anywhere. It is simply gone.”Everyone will miss your loved one. But live for the day that is described in the book of John 5:28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those inthe memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, I hope these scriptures bring you comfort.
Martin & Karen Smith left a message on December 22, 2014:
Martin and Mr Nix shared a common interest in Boston Terriers. We were both in his chorus classes at LaGrange. Even hearing Christmas music right now reminds me of our Chorus Christmas Concerts. Memories include the chorus trips he allowed us to take so we could perform for others and go to festivals, and Mr Nix sang in our wedding. So many memories. May God comfort your hearts today and through the coming days. In His Love, Martin & Karen, Lake Charles LA

My condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Nix. I was blessed to have him as my teacher for 3 years at LaGrange High. He was the epitome of a gentleman, and a patient and understanding teacher. I remember him fondly whenever I hear the great music he taught us to enjoy and appreciate.
Robin Nelson left a message on December 20, 2014:
this kind, gentle man gave us the gift of music during the turbulent sixties & seventies. Entering his choir room, tension visibly slithered off of us as he was able to coax a joyful noise from us. RIP, dear Music Man.
