She attended Liberty Grove Church of God.She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Bell Thompson; son, Stephen Ray Ward; brothers, Lynn Thompson, Vernon Thompson, and George Thompson, Jr.; and sister, Ann Thompson Telano.Ms. Ward is survived by her son, Randy Ward; sister, Dorothy M.
