Funeral services for Thelma Massey, 83, of West Monroe, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Dr. Mike Holloway and Rev. Matthew Walker will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the funeral home.

Thelma was born on October 8, 1941 in West Monroe and passed away on February 24, 2025 in West Monroe. She was a member of Ouachita Baptist Church, had previously worshipped at Peniel Baptist Church for 60+ years. Thelma was known as a homemaker extraordinaire who very much enjoyed “Retail Therapy”. She was preceded in death by her parents, James N. “Polie” Wheelis and Euna George Wheelis; and brother, Elbert D. Wheelis.

Thelma is survived by her husband of 65 years, Terry G. Massey; three children, Gregory G. Massey and wife Teresa of Eros, Ginger Keyes of Bossier City, Dana Perritt of Eros; six grandchildren, Kyle Massey and wife Sarah, Katie Massey, Abigail Massey, Victoria Keyes, Hailey Perritt, and Hunter Perritt; sisters-in-law, Janelle Wheelis, Genell Massey; brother – in-law, Dale Wheelis; numerous nieces and nephews and many other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Massey, Jeff Wheelis, Donnie Smith, Tab Peters, Matt Mills, and Ben Jones.
